🐾 Pet Services Info 🐾

  1. Yes, Calm Companion Pet Care is fully insured and bonded and background-checked to give you peace of mind while your pets are in my care. I am also certified in CPR, First-aid and educated through PETPRO.
  1. Bellingham, Fairhaven, Ferndale, Geneva, Sudden Valley, Lynden, Lauri and Lumni. Anything outside of my range will be charge at $1/mile.
  1. I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, guinea pigs and fish!

  1. For the safety of my clients, their pets, and myself, I require that all pets be up to date on core vaccinations appropriate for their species and lifestyle.

    Proof of rabies and DHPP vaccines or Titer Tests required. Cats must be current on Rabies and FVRCP.

    Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to the start of services and must remain current throughout the duration of care.

    I do understand that some pets may be unable to receive certain vaccines due to age or medical conditions.

    Medical exemptions must be provided in writing by a licensed veterinarian and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    I reserve the right to decline or suspend services if vaccination requirements are not met, in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

  1. I am experienced with dog psychology along with animal behavior and using methods to create a fear-free approach with every pet. The pet's comfort and safety is my first priority. I never force engagement but be patient and gentle by working on their pace. ensuring to stay calm and give an stress-free experience.
  1. Yes! You'll get a regular live updates, photos and even sometimes videos in Walkies Journal.
  1. Walkies is a platform use for booking services, visit updates, invoices and payments - all happens in one place. Every visit you'll be receiving notes, photos and a report card from each stay so you can always see how your pet is doing.
  1. I am so glad to hear that you are trusting me in watching your pet!! Please fill out the intake evaluation form found in "Book now" and then, I will get back to you to learn more information and provide you with a quote and my availability! Later once you would like to move forward, then we can schedule and meet and greet, then we move onto liability wavier and pet service agreement contract.

🐾 Payment & Cancellation Policies 🐾

  1. Once a payment option has been selected, it'll depend on the cancellation policy along with it.
  1. If you do like to reserve the dates then, you have the optional to pay $50 and this is not additional cost fee. This amount is applied as a credit towards your total booking cost. Remaining balance is then paid during the booking. This option is really recommended if you don't want to do half and half This option is open to anybody who would like to secure their booking. Due to high demand and the need to reserve and hold the space, all payments made under this option for the $50 are non-refundable.

  1. if you don't need to place a date-hold retainer, you can just simply pay before the booking 50% and then the remaining upon completion at the end of the day or the next day 50%. **Seven days for any stay must be cancellation before one week, a full refund of the half payment is given.

  1. I accept PayPal, Venmo, Walkies Pay, Zelle. Check and cash are also acceptable but must be due the beginning of the booking or for deposit.

Dog Walks
30 or 60 minutes with photo updates, solo walks and sniff-focused pace.
Limited availability - Mon, Fri
   $18 dog walks per visit - 20 minutes
   $25 dog walks per visit - 30 minutes.
   $35 dog walks per visit - 1 hr
   $18 cat walk per visit - 20 minutes
   Additional pet: $10, cat $8
   Holiday surcharge: $10+Check-in / Drop-in visit
30 or 60 minutes with well-cared for and company within short amount of time.
   $25 dog drop-in per visit, only cat $20 - 30 minutes
   $35 dog drop-in per visit, only cat $30 - 1 hr.
   Holiday surcharge: $10+Pet Sitting (Short-term sitting)
In-home care part during the day with steady companionship and support while you are away. Limited for four hours per day or additional hours.
   $45 per day
   $35 for cat only
   additional dog is $15, $8 per cat only.
   Holiday surcharge: $15+House-sitting
Overnight care stay in-the-home + daysit by following house routine and pet routine including light house care if needed.
   $60 per night
   additional dog is $25, cat $10
   $55 per night for cat only
   Holiday surcharge: $15+Farm-sitting
Stay to maintain and run your farm when you are needed to be away.
   $100 to $150 per night*Other holidays will vary depending on the high-demand bookings for those dates such as New Years Eve, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Juneteenth Weekend, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day amd Christmas Eve.

Hello! My name is Jada and I have stepped into a second career into the pet field as a pet caregiver for seven years! I have worked variety of pet facilities, pet hotels and animal clubs in college.
I have always loved every second of it, I decided to turn my passion in animals into a pet sitting business and help owners in need! I love learning about the dogs' personality and caring them is my favorite job.Whether I am stopping by to visit pets, company senior pets that need the company or a hyper energy pet needing their exercise and enrichment activity fun, I'll do everything to keep the pets safe and well cared for. I want people to be at ease and feel confident that they have a wonderful sitter to count on at all times.

Booking & Contact

Meet and greet are mandatory for all pets to make sure I am a good fit for your furbabies! Any last minute requests must be arranged three days with a meet and greet before the booking starts.
